WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 14TH 6 PM As we prepare for the annual community dinner it is time to think about how we serve our neighbors at Christ Church. There are many opportunities to be a blessing in our community.

Make Some Traditional Thanksgiving Favorites to Share
We need full pans of sweet potatoes & stuffing, pies, cranberry sauce & relish tray items.

Provided Needed Funds
The turkey envelopes are back out. Slip your donation for food in the envelope and return it to the church office or even put it in the plate during the Sunday service.

Donate New or Gently Used Coats, Socks, Sweatshirts, Hats, Gloves, Mittens, Scarves
Our guests need basic supplies as we enter winter. Consider sharing your resources.

Serve During the Feast
We would love to have you as a volunteer or musician to make this a night of giving thanks for all our guests. We have needs before, during & after the meal. If you plan on volunteering – be sure to sign up. Unplanned volunteers are difficult to manage. Volunteers must be 6th grade & above. Jr High volunteers will oversee table bussing. High School volunteers will serve on the food line. Adult volunteers will work in a variety of other positions. If you would like to attend the Thanksgiving dinner with younger children, we would love to have you join us for the meal. Enjoy the company of our guests and let them know why CEC is a great place to find fellowship.

Join Us with Your Family & Enjoy a Thanksgiving Meal with Our Neighbors
Doors open at 6 pm (earlier if we are staffed & ready to go) & it will be crowded. Parishioners should plan on arriving after 6:30 pm – your wait will be less, and you will have time to enjoy your meal & share a conversation with our guests.

Sign-ups & schedules are available online. Links to the Signupgenius can be found by clicking the link here, on the church website, and on the Christ Episcopal Church Facebook page. A link will also be sent via email to parishioners. Paper signups can be found outside the church office. Please provide your email address & phone number if you sign up on paper forms at the church. You will receive a call or email, so we can place you in a volunteer position or provide more information on when to deliver donated Thanksgiving food.
