As we prepare for the annual community dinner it is time to think about how we serve our neighbors at Christ Church. There are many opportunities to be a blessing in our community.
1. Make Some Traditional Thanksgiving Favorites to Share. We need full pans of sweet potatoes & stuffing, pies, & relish tray items.
2. Provided Needed Funds The turkey envelopes are back out. Slip your donation for food in the envelope and return it to the church office or even put it in the plate during the Sunday service.
3. Donate New or Gently Used Coats, Socks, Sweatshirts, Hats, Gloves, Mittens, Scarves Our guests need basic supplies as we enter winter. Consider sharing your resources.
4. Serve During the Feast We would love to have you as a volunteer or musician to make this a night of giving thanks for all our guests. We have needs before, during & after the meal. If you plan on volunteering – be sure to sign up. Unplanned volunteers are difficult to manage. Volunteers must be 6th grade & above.

Jr High volunteers will oversee table bussing. High School volunteers will serve on the food line. Adult volunteers will work in a variety of other positions do not bring children to work with you – JrH & HS  sign up independently. If you would like to attend the Thanksgiving dinner with children too young to volunteer, we would love to have you join us for the meal. Enjoy the company of our guests and let them know why CEC is a great place to find fellowship.

HERE IS WHAT TO DO Sign-ups & schedules are available online here.

Links to the Signupgenious can be found on the church website & on the Christ Episcopal Church Facebook page. A link will also be sent via email to parishioners.
