Ozark Pridefest: The Episcopal Churches of Springfield are participating in Ozark Pridefest again this year on June 14th – and we want to invite you to be part of this joyful celebration!
There are two ways you can get involved:
Be a Table Host
The table hosts will greet people, be friendly, handout giveaway items, and invite people to offer prayers on ribbons. To sign up for one or more shifts, Click Here.
Walk in the Parade
We’re also walking the Pride Parade as a visible witness to God’s love for all people – especially our LGBTQ+ siblings. The more, the merrier! To sign up for the parade, Click Here
Lastly, don’t forget to join us for Pride Mass at Christ Episcopal Church on June 14th at 10:00am. Let’s show up together in love!
Join us for Christ Church night at Hammons Field for a Springfield Cardinals game on June 22nd at 6:05 pm. We will host a pregame BBQ at 4:30 in the parish hall and then walk or drive to the game. Tickets, including dinner, will be $15 per person and payment by cash or check is due no later than June 8. Click Here to register now!
Christ Church will host Waves of Gratitude—a 2 day Vacation Bible School Program created by United Thank Offering. This will take place on Thursday, July 10 and Friday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children ages 4-5th grade are invited to join us for an ocean-themed program focused on gratitude through a biblical lens. We will have water activities, crafts, music, movement, and STEAM projects. We will wrap up Friday with a field trip to Wonders of Wildlife!
