UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS
Christ the King Sunday this year is on November 24th. The 10:00 a.m. service will be joined by a brass quintet for hymns and anthems! This day will also be our ingathering of pledges. During the 8 and 10 a.m. services, we ask that you bring your pledge cards with you to be blessed at the altar. Pledge cards should arrive in your mailbox shortly. Be sure to stick around after the 10 a.m. service for fellowship and snacks.
Join us at Culver’s on Sunshine/Fremont on Monday, November 25th between 5 and 8 p.m. for a delicious way to support and show gratitude for our St. Cecilia Children’s Choir! Take a night off from Thanksgiving meal prep, relax, and let the kids serve you as they get ready for their big trip to Washington, DC. 20% of all proceeds (dine-in and drive-thru) will go directly toward our March trip, so come hungry and bring friends to help us lift up our young music makers!
Women’s Fellowship will be having a cookie exchange on December 4th at the Hickory Villas Clubhouse (located 3810 E Cherry St. Springfield, MO 65809) from 5 to 7 p.m. Bring your favorite cookies! We’ll know how many cookies each person should bring as people sign up, so stay tuned. Please bring a snack to share and bring your own beverage. The sign up sheet is on the blue “Fellowship” bulletin board in the church hallway. Hope to see you there!
