UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS
The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 22, with two services held at noon and 7 p.m. Plans are currently underway for our annual soup suppers during Wednesdays in Lent. Our first soup supper is planned for Wednesday, March 1. Sign-up sheets for soup and bread can be found on the bulletin board across from the front office. If you would like to share your recipe please write it in the recipe book located near the bulletin board.

RECURRING ACTIVITIES
Boys Choir of Springfield (BCS) is a TUITION FREE, auditioned ensemble of boys, grades 3-12, with exceptional vocal talent. Positive role models lead the boys within this challenging musical environment in order to develop each member’s talent as well as to help them grow spiritually and personally. Membership in BCS is not limited by social status, race, or economics. As an organization, boys share their gifts in a variety of venues that encourage others to become involved in our community through the power of music.
All Christ Church women are invited to attend Bible Study. We meet for an hour each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in room 102. We plan to read the lectionary for the upcoming Sunday and focus our discussion on the New Testament readings, especially the Gospel. Bring your favorite Bible. The different translations lend to some interesting discussions. If you have questions or would like a copy of the lectionary emailed to you before the meeting, please email Marsha Patterson at marsha.s.patterson@gmail.com.
