The Spiritual Formation Commission is hosting another centering prayer workshop facilitated by the Rev. Rita Kendagor on December 7th at 9 a.m. at Christ Church. Centering Prayer is drawn from an ancient form of Christian prayer. It’s a method of consenting to the presence and gracious action of Christ in the stillness of our being. Anyone desiring to deepen their prayer life will benefit from this simple introduction to Centering Prayer. The format will include presentations, discussion, and opportunities to practice this type of prayer.
